Our Origins
In 1986/7 several missionaries came to Brussels from the USA and started the International Christian Fellowship (ICF) as an Anglo-French speaking church. Over the years the church has met in several different locations in central and east Brussels often sharing the facilities of either schools, other established local churches or community centres.
The church has been part of the Antioch Network of churches, since its creation. We are an officially recognized member of the "Fédération des Eglises Francophones Protestantes de Belgique" (FEFB).
In 1997 David and Mary Floyd planted a French speaking Vineyard Church (La Vigne). See www.la-vigne.be for details. Some time after this the church moved to the use of English as the working language and introduced simultaneous French translation using discrete headsets.
Having been a friend of the Vineyard for many years we began discussions about becoming a member of the Association of Vineyard Churches in the Benelux in 2002. In Jan 2004 we were officially adopted into the movement as Vineyard Brussels. In December 2004 we moved to our current venue in Evere which we rent 24/7 giving us the opportunity to meet whenever we want to.
