Meet Our Pastors and Hear Their Stories

Ricky and Natalia Venter have been the Lead Pastors of Vineyard Brussels since 2019, after serving 10 years at Fountain Vineyard Fellowship in South Africa, their home country. The couple has been married for over 21 years and shares three children: Alejandro, Zachariah, and Alegra-joy.

Their journey together began at a young age, involving them in various ministry roles, such as leading youth, children, and worship ministries before ascending to senior leadership positions. Before dedicating themselves to full-time ministry, they engaged in entrepreneurial ventures, including running a business development agency.

In addition to their pastoral duties, Ricky and Natalia are authors of several books designed to equip and empower individuals, families, and the church. They are deeply committed to spreading the gospel, expanding the Kingdom of God, and helping others find their calling and identity in God.

What is Vineyard Brussels?

Vineyard Brussels is an evangelical and charismatic English-speaking church in the heart of Brussels that aims to share the message of Jesus with people with a demonstration of power of the Holy Spirit.

What do we believe?

At Vineyard Brussels, we believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and strive to follow His example in our lives. Check the Our Beliefs page for more information

How can I get involved?

There are various ways to get involved at Vineyard Brussels, such as joining a connect group, volunteering, or attending our events.

Where are we located?

Vineyard Brussels is located in the heart of Brussels. Our address is Boulevard du Souverain 220, 1160 Auderghem

What are our service times?

Our church services are held every Sunday from 9:30AM to 10:45PM (1st service) and from 11:15AM to 12:30PM (2nd service). We also have midweek gatherings and special events throughout the year.

Where to go on a Sunday morning?

As you come into the Vineyard Brussels building, walk straight along the corridor to the main hall where a member of the ushering team will welcome you. They are there to answer your practical questions, too, or even help you find a seat. Don’t hesitate to ask!

What is the Sunday programme?

A typical Sunday service lasts about one and a half hours, and consists of a time of modern-style worship (singing), followed by announcements, a sermon (talk), a time to be prayed for and a coffee break. As our tag-line says, our goal is to connect with God and with people.

What if I have kids?

If you have kids or teenagers with you, on the way into the building stop off at the family welcome table in the entrance hall where children register for their class.

We offer supervised children’s programmes : children aged up to 12 join us for the first part (singing) and then they are invited to join their own classes.

Teenagers from 12-17 years old meet every other week during the sermon (talk). You can find more information on our activities for kids and teens under the menu tab “KIDS” and "YOUTH" at the top of this page.

What do people wear?

The dress code is “come as you are”: you’ll see suits & ties, traditional or smart dresses, as well as T-shirts and jeans.

What about speakers?

The topics of our sermons vary greatly, as we do both series over several weeks/months (e.g. what does the Bible say about love? following a specific book of the Bible…) as well as one-off talks based on relevant topics. Reflecting the diversity of our members, there is a great variety of speakers: young and old, men and women, Vineyard Brussels leadership team and staff, and invited speakers.
