Walk on Purpose

Over these three weeks, we’ve been on a journey of intentional discipleship:

Fan Into Flame → My fire
Consider Your Ways → My ways
Walk on Purpose → My direction

In this final message of the series, Pastor Ricky Venter challenges us to stop drifting and start walking on purpose.

Ephesians 5:15–17 reminds us to walk carefully and make the most of our time. Because the truth is simple: you don’t accidentally become the person Jesus is calling you to become.

Our direction is shaped by the paths we repeatedly walk, the rhythms we build, and the people we choose to walk with.

In this message, we explore:

• Why movement and direction are not the same thing
• Why good intentions don’t automatically produce godly destinations
• How to order our steps through intentional spiritual rhythms
• Why Scripture, prayer, worship, community, generosity, service and rest don’t earn God’s love, but help organise our lives around Jesus
• How failure can become a place of grace, restoration and renewed purpose
• Why we need people ahead of us, beside us and behind us
• And why intentional discipleship ultimately leads us to help others follow Jesus

The invitation is simple:

Choose your direction.
Order your steps.
Don’t walk alone.

Walk with Jesus.
Walk with others.
Help others walk with Jesus.

You don’t need the whole map to take the next faithful step.

And wherever the journey takes you, Jesus promises:

“I am with you always.” — Matthew 28:20 NKJV
